All together

Online support group for the partners of people living with

Multiple Sclerosis

Free & online every wed:

12pm to 1pm
(AEST Brisbane: UTC/GMT +10 hours)

This is not a therapy group. It’s a space to connect, share stories, swap strategies, and support each other through the unique challenges of loving someone with MS. Facilitated by a qualified counsellor living with MS, who knows that when one person has MS, it affects the whole household.

What to Expect:

-A relaxed, judgment-free environment

-Honest conversations about things that are hard to say elsewhere

-A chance to feel heard, without needing to “stay strong”

Who It's For:

This group is for anyone who is the partner, spouse, or significant other of someone living with MS. Whether your relationship is new or long-term, this is a space for you.

Important Notes:

This group is a supportive space, not a clinical one. It is not suitable for crisis support or therapeutic intervention. If you are struggling, please reach out and get in touch.

Cost:

  • Free 60 min session

Additional information:

  • All together is a support group for the partners of people living with Multiple Sclerosis.
“Partners” is a general term. If someone you love has MS, please join us. We recognise that not all neurological issues fit in neat categories. Therefore, if you feel that you would benefit from this program, please reach out.

  • Sessions are currently held online via zoom. If you have specific accessibility needs, let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

  • We would love to see you back week after week, however, there’s no rigid schedule, you can book in every week, fortnight or when you need it.

  • Group discussions may include issues that are the result of issues with legal, clinical, medical, or NDIS-related experiences. However, participants are encouraged to speak only from their own lived experience and to avoid offering advice to others.

  • We are not an NDIS Provider, however we can work with your support coordinator to fit in under “Capacity Building - Improved Daily Living Skills”. Pricing remains the same for private and NDIS participants.

  • This group isn’t a crisis service. If you need urgent care, please contact 000. If you require immediate mental health support, please call Lifeline 13 11 14 or Beyond blue on 1300 22 4636.
